ENDORSEMENT

Today, Erik Aadland, CD7 Republican candidate for Congress, was endorsed by local Geologist, Holly Duncan.

Holly Duncan is a professional Geologist, having twenty-four years of experience in the environmental field and petroleum industry. Her early career began at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, leading an investigative project involving recovered water from the aquifer storage and recovery systems.

Moving into the petroleum industry, Holly characterized aquifers and petroleum systems, assisted in planning, drilling and the completion processes of oil and natural gas wells. This process focused on personal, community and environmental safety, regulatory compliance, aquifer protection, and the efficient delivery of high-value wells.

Most recently, Holly led the Denver Basin Geology team at a Colorado based energy company where she worked with Erik Aadland on multiple teams and projects.

In a statement sent to the Aadland campaign, Holly stated:

“The petroleum industry is a fast-paced, often high-stress profession where certain qualities of personnel prevail. During the five years I worked with Erik in the energy sector, I recognized his excellent work ethic, professionalism and respect and empathy for people of all walks of life. Erik truly earned his promotions by taking on extra responsibility and never shied away from accepting the tougher assignments.

Erik embraces hard work and sacrifice, both in his professional life and in service to our country. As his co-worker, I witnessed the esteem he had for his peers, employees and management, no matter rank, gender, race or discipline.
