ENDORSEMENT

Erik Aadland announces a formal endorsement from former CD7 Congressman, Bob Beauprez

July 29, 2022

Bob Beauprez is a rancher, former banker and politician from Boulder County. He attended the University of Colorado and graduated with a degree in physical education.

Beauprez was made chair of the Boulder County Republicans in 1997, and two years later was named chairman of the Colorado Republican Party. Beauprez represented Colorado’s Seventh Congressional District from 2003-2007 and ran for Governor of Colorado in 2006 and 2014.

A devout Catholic and member of the Republican Party, Beauprez has long maintained his stance as a moderate conservative.

In a statement sent to Erik Aadland’s campaign, Beauprez said:

“It was a privilege to serve as the first Representative of District 7, so I know well what it takes to do the job. Erik Aadland has all the right stuff to not only fit into the role, but to excel as a Member of Congress. Erik’s life has been one of exceptional service, always rising to leadership responsibility whether in the military or private sector. It will be the same when he’s in Congress. He has a passion for America, an instinctive healthy common-sense for right and wrong, and a very large servant’s heart. It is my honor to offer my strongest endorsement of Erik Aadland as the next Representative from District 7 to Congress.”

Erik’s remarks:

“I am honored to have Bob Beauprez’s endorsement. Just as he rose to the challenge of representing Coloradans in a new congressional district, I am ready to understand the changing needs of the newly redistricted Congressional District 7’s citizens and advocate for them in Washington.”
