ENDORSEMENT

Rob Witwer was a Republican member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing House District 25, which encompasses most of western Jefferson County, Colorado. Witwer was appointed to the Colorado General Assembly in 2005 by vacancy committee and won the general election in 2006. Witwer worked closely with legislators of both political parties to address Colorado’s public policy needs, including modernization of the state’s business laws, wildfire preparedness, alignment of K-12 assessments with global standards, and advancing renewable energy. During his legislative tenure, Witwer passed 85% of sponsored bills into law with bipartisan support.

Witwer is co-author of the best-selling and must-read book The Blueprint: How the Democrats Won Colorado. The Rocky Mountain News called Witwer one of the “Rock Stars” of the Colorado GOP, and National Journal named him one of its “stars to watch in the future”.

In a statement sent to the Aadland campaign, Witwer said:
