Today, Erik Aadland, CD7 Republican candidate for Congress, announces a formal endorsement from former Colorado State Representative, City Councilwoman and healthcare provider, Ramey Johnson.
Ramey Johnson was a Colorado State Representative for two years and City Councilwoman for ten years. Ramey holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy Business School.
Ramey’s extensive background in health care, public policy and political and community leadership leaves her with over 55 years of diversified experience in private and public arenas.
In a statement sent to the Aadland campaign, Ramey stated:
“As a long-time advocate for the people of Lakewood, I know how important it is to build bridges and find common ground. That’s why I am endorsing Erik Aadland for our U.S. Congressional seat. Like me, Erik believes in creating honest relationships with his constituents and colleagues. He trusts the wisdom of “We The People” to understand the issues and mandate wise governance. He is committed to keeping us well informed on the issues confronting our country as he represents us in Washington. People want their elected officials to work together and find solutions.
