Fremont County Sheriff Cooper endorses Erik for Congress
March 31, 2022
Today, Fremont County Sheriff Allen Cooper announced his endorsement of Erik Aadland for the U.S. House of Representatives Colorado District 7 (CD7). Cooper was elected Sheriff in 2018 with over 61% of the vote. He is well liked and very well respected in Fremont County. Sheriff Cooper has achieved excellent results in overhauling the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and received accolades for solving stubborn cold cases he inherited upon taking office.
“Erik Aadland is my choice for our next Congressman because he understands the needs of communities like ours in Fremont County. I believe in Erik’s ability to fight government overreach and protect state and local governance. Knowing that as a combat veteran Erik risked his life in support of his oath to defend the Constitution makes it easy for me to trust in his character and integrity facing this crucial task. I think often of my two sons who are currently serving in our military, and I would be proud to see the good people of Fremont County represented in Washington by one of their brothers in arms. Erik is well prepared to be the kind of servant leader that we need in Congress.”
Erik’s remarks:
“I am grateful to have Sheriff Cooper’s endorsement,” said Erik. “He serves the people of Fremont County well, and his support is important as my campaign continues to build a successful and winning organization.”
